Hi, I’m Tammy!
My husband and I are forty something year olds who are self proclaimed foodies. Unfortunately my gluten intolerance gets in the way of enjoying many of the foods we would love to try when eating out. Not to mention that I’m just lucky enough to have a genetic predisposition for diabetes along with my own personal risk factors. Luckily we both have a passion for food & cooking and are not afraid to try new ingredients and methods when doing so.
Research shows that a low-carb diet is an effective tool in helping to manage diabetes. So, since I have this lovely gluten intolerance and a good probability of developing diabetes if I’m not careful, I figure low-carb is the right thing for me!
My husband and I also love to travel and hope to do more now that we’re almost empty nesters.
